We’re looking for three passionate, driven communicators to join the IABC/Calgary Board for the 2026/2027 term.
At the heart of IABC is community. And locally, that community is shaped by a team of dedicated volunteers who bring our chapter to life. From curating meaningful professional development opportunities to fostering authentic connections across Calgary’s communications landscape, our board plays a vital role in delivering value to our members.

Our board has three open positions at the moment:
- President
- Vice-President
- Student & Volunteer Director

What’s the time commitment?
Our board term runs from July through June.
You can expect:
- A monthly board meeting (typically held in the evening)
- A few additional hours each month to support your portfolio
