Shael Gelfand has more than 35 years experience as a communicator, marketer, media advisor and talent coach. After 20 years as a journalist and television producer with CTV Calgary, Shael established Peak Communicators (Alberta) Ltd. in 2003. His company provides public relations services to corporations, governments and regulatory agencies, with a focus on crisis and issues management; media and presentation training; and strategic PR counsel and campaigns. He’s trained hundreds of executives, performers and elected officials.
Kurt Kadatz is a long-time communications professional in Calgary. He’s spent the majority of his 22-year career in the energy industry, along with stints in the tourism/hospitality, development and food retailing sectors. Kurt has acted as spokesperson on issues ranging from pipeline ruptures and energy developments to animal activism and community concerns. He’s also delivered and co-delivered media training to field employees, executives and cowboys.
