It’s 2017! That means we are only weeks away from celebrating IABC/Calgary’s 50^th anniversary. Haven’t bought your tickets yet? Here are three reasons why you should get them now.

1. It’s all about the party
   We call it a gala, but really it’s about going to an awesome party. Get ready to be dazzled by entertainers throughout the night (including lights, cameras, art and dancing), enjoy gourmet food prepared meticulously by Chef Liana Robberecht and party the night away with fellow communicators, including members from other chapters. Let our gala be the party that kicks off your 2017.
2. Celebrate our Chapter’s success
   Did we mention that we are the first IABC Chapter in the world to turn 50? That’s a big deal! That’s half a century. We are celebrating how far we’ve come in 50 years and where we’re going in the next 50. So, put on your best gala wear and help celebrate our Chapter’s success.
3. Support a local organization and athletes
   Many people have been asking us why we are holding the gala at WinSport. We chose this venue not only because it is a beautiful place to host an event, but also because we wanted to support a local organization and the athletes who use WinSport’s facilities.  IABC/Calgary has always been about being involved in the community, and what better way to be involved than to do it at our 50^th anniversary gala. Did we mention WinSport is one of the last event venues in Calgary that has free parking?
