The next opportunity to take the Communication Management Professional (CMP) certification exam in Calgary is Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the University of Calgary. The IABC Calgary Chapter has already successfully supported 16 CMPs in taking their exam and becoming certified – the largest number of any chapter in the world! You, too, can choose to take your level of communication professionalism to new heights by obtaining this internationally recognized certification.
The Global Communication Certification Council (GCCC®) has based its CMP certification program, including the continuing professional development requirement, on the Global Standard for communication professionals set forth by IABC.
Who’s it for?
CMP certification is likely to be an experienced generalist or specialist with a desire for formal recognition of their professional practice relative to an established global standard.
If you have a minimum of six years’ experience practicing as a communications professional plus two years of relevant education OR a minimum of eight years’ experience, then this level of certification is for you.
How do I sign up?
You are encouraged to apply as soon as possible if you are interested in the CMP exam this Fall in order to ensure your application and registration gets reviewed within the allotted time-frame.
