We are celebrating the journey of communications over the last half century by kicking off our 50th year with a formal Gala in January 2017, to celebrate.

Television, digital marketing, social media, the internet and the 24-hour news cycles, are just a few of the technologies that have changed the industry over the last 50 years. It’s time to reflect on where communications has been and where our industry is headed and celebrate IABC/Calgary and its members and volunteers who have helped to shape communications.

The Gala event is a night of celebration and recognition of the creative excellence and innovation in our industry over the past 50 years going beyond black and white. This is an opportunity to shine a light on our past and present members, community leaders, and volunteers. Our chapter has consistently been the second largest in the world for a reason and it’s time to celebrate your hard work and achievements in a fun, formal fashion!

This night promises to be special, kicking off the celebration of our 50 years of accomplishments, toasting our communications community and reminiscing over the many challenges and triumphs of the communication profession in Calgary.
