Why privatize?
The Careers team has conducted both anecdotal and survey research through the review of our member survey data. Our members are seeking greater value and return on investment from their IABC membership, especially in Calgary’s current economic climate. We anticipate that the privatizing of this feature will increase value for our members.

• IABC/Calgary job-seekers can rest assured that employers will be more likely to see their application because fewer job seekers will have seen the posting. They will also receive an increased benefit for their membership, having access to member-only content on our website and within our newsletter.
• Employers seeking qualified communications professionals can post with IABC/Calgary and be sure that our skilled membership will see the posting. By posting with us, they can be guaranteed that our members who apply will be qualified communicators with the skills sets that they are looking for.
