The Fellow Award is the highest honour IABC can confer on a member. The Fellow designation recognizes achievements by a communicator or communications educator that have had a significant impact on IABC and their members as well as the communications profession.

The criteria used for the Fellow Award includes:

  • Contribution to and leadership in the organizational communication field and profession (25 per cent)
  • Career achievement (25 per cent)
  • Authorship, speaking and lecturing (25 per cent)
  • Contributions to IABC (25 per cent)
