It’s that time of year again! Nominations are now open for the 2021-2022 IABC/Calgary Board. Next year will be an exciting time as IABC/Calgary continues to evolve to unique and changing times. Be part of the strategic conversations as we work together to continue to support our local members and create connection within our communications community.
Though the benefits are many and varied for each volunteer, below are a few things you can gain by joining the IABC/Calgary board:
- Leadership experience with the opportunity to manage a team of volunteers and participate in key decision-making for your portfolio and the chapter.
- Business experience, including strategic planning, budget-setting and reporting.
- Networking and best-practice sharing with fellow communicators at the local, regional and international levels.
