Nominations are now open for the vice president for the 2016/17 IABC/Calgary board. This amazing leadership role will also be vice president for IABC/Calgary’s 50th year and be part of leading IABC’s second largest chapter. This role is open to current members who are looking for:
- Leadership experience with the opportunity to manage a team of volunteers and participate in key decision-making for your portfolio and the chapter.
- Business experience including strategic planning, budget-setting and reporting.
- Networking and best-practice sharing with fellow communicators at the local, regional and international levels.
- Pride in accomplishing great things for IABC/Calgary.
As vice president, you are signing up for a three-year commitment as the role will automatically succeed to president and then past president. During your vice president role you will also be the chapter’s representative with the IABC Canada West regional board.
