Presidents are tweeting, Facebook is leaking, and mainstream media is melting down. These are just some of the disruptive effects of digital on communications. They sure didn’t teach us about this nonsense in school! Thankfully we can all go back to the basics – mapping out strategy, targeting audiences, engaging stakeholders, crafting messages (and now responses), producing compelling content, and focusing on outcomes not outputs. Now with the added misery delight of Google Analytics!

“Plus ça change” say the French. They are right, the essence of communications remains the same. They also drink a lot of wine, which may explain the zen.

Kick off your day of “Transform-ation” with this lively review of what’s new and what’s not in communications, and what to do about it.
